Our week has been busy with creating Valentine bags and Valentines. We are looking forward to handing out Valentines to all of our friends, and opening our Valentine bags at the end of our school session on Monday!

We have had a lot of fun
participating in the
activities involved with
learning the letter “r”.
We’ve played with ribbons,
painted rainbows, and even went
fishing for pictures of things that begin with “r”.

This week’s Bible story was about the miracle of Jesus feeding over 5,000 people. One little boy had five loaves of bread and two fish. That is what Jesus used to feed everyone. How was He able to do that? It makes us feel good to know that Jesus can take care of us better than anyone else.

We are learning a new song to sing in
church on March 20th (make sure to
mark your calendars now). We have
a lot of time to practice and
it will be great to have
all of the parents
listen to us sing on
March 20th. ☺

See you next week!

It was a busy week for preschoolers! Not only did we miss school on Monday, because of the weather, but we also had to practice lots and lots for the song we are going to sing in church on Sunday. Miss Wilke loves to hear our angel voices and is anxious to hear us in church at 9 A.M. on Sunday, February 6th.

We learned about Groundhog’s Day, and some of us thought it was kind of silly that people ask a groundhog to help them with the weather. We liked finding our own shadows in the classroom though. We got to shut off the lights and use a flashlight to create tons of shadows!

Quentin Quail was hovering around us while we were painting the letter q with q-tips. We couldn’t find a lot of words that start with the letter q, but Miss Wilke has strings of letters that have many qs in them!

Did you know that Jesus can make the wind and water listen to him? He calmed a storm by telling it to, “Hush. Be still.” He is so powerful!

We celebrated Levi’s 5th birthday on Wednesday, February 2nd. We all hope he enjoyed his birthday!
