We finally had a full week of school again! The
preschoolers enjoyed talking about their families
this week, and expressed their thankfulness for
various things in life.
Bible Time focused on the story of Ruth.
She was faithful to her mother-in-law, Naomi, and worked hard to take care of her. Ruth showed us how important it is to serve each other in love. The students discussed the different ways they help the ones they love.
The letter of the week was the letter ‘i’. Students enjoyed looking at and feeling “igloo i” during Letter Work. They decorated delicious looking ice cream cones, and created several insects to put on their ‘i’ activity page.
God surely has blessed us, and continues to do so each day! The preschoolers decorated a Horn of Plenty to portray the many bounteous gifts the Lord provides.

Only two days of school this week for us, but we
still have a lot to share! ☺ Our theme during Circle
Time was Community Helpers. We enjoyed pretending to
be mail carriers, store clerks, teachers, and
anything else that we could think of! There was even
a mailbox and a play cash register in the room for us
to use during Station Choice. We are glad that we
have so many people to help us throughout our
community.
Not only did we learn about community helpers, but we also learned about the walls of Jericho falling down. God sure is powerful! We are glad his power is real, unlike the many superhero action figures that we like to play with.
We played with hairy “h” this week during Letter Work, and discovered several things that begin with the letter “h”. We also had the opportunity to create Veteran’s Day cards that will be passed out in Mankato. How thankful we are that we have people fighting for our country!
