October 2007 - 2nd, 3rd, 4th Grades

The weeks of school are moving quickly. The calendar
turned to October and the feel of fall has come at
last. Second, Third, and Fourth graders are busy with
all of their subjects. We are getting used to the
routines that we follow everyday and need little
reminders to stay on task. We have been able to do a
lot of our Science experiments outside since we are
studying habitats and the environment. Second graders
are investigating ant, insects and beaver habitats.
How wonderful to see God taking care of these small
creatures everyday.
What more has he done for us! Third and Fourth graders are watching what happens when the trash is put in a landfill overtime. Are we being the best users of the blessings that God has given to us? The grumbling Children of Israel sound a lot like us when things do not go our way. God has the plan ready, are we willing to listen to what He is telling us? We don't always like to hear that part of the story. We too often think the other person is to blame. Thank you God, for the forgiveness that you give to us!
We are excited that Laura has joined our third grade class. She adds a big smile to our room. She came from sunny Arizona in September.
Thank you again for all the support and love you have shown to us at Good Shepherd Lutheran School. We know that without you, all of our work is incomplete. The volunteers, the parents, the prayers, and the blessings are too numerous to mention.
Our love to you all, 4th graders, and Mrs Garman
